Luftwaffe Pilot's Crusher Cap
This type crusher cap was made famous by such pilots as Erich Hartmann and Gunther Rall. These had little or no padding so they could be "crushed" and placed in the pilot's belt or inside his jacket. They had a soft leather peak, or sometimes the late war vulcan fibre peak with simulated stitching on it.
These are rebuilt commercial caps, as all our caps and takes 2-3 weeks to compelte depending on how busy I am.
The cap shown below has been aged to show much wear and use, half the logo is missing from wear, and the leather sweatband is worn and wrink
